Beauprez Joins Pepperdine Public Policy Board

Malibu, Calif. – The Pepperdine University School of Public Policy has named former Colorado Congressman Bob Beauprez to their Board of Visitors, citing his leadership experience as a US Representative in Washington, D.C. and his civic leadership in his native Colorado.

"I am thrilled that Congressman Beauprez will be joining the Board of Visitors of the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy. His ideas and his advice will make a distinctive contribution as we seek to prepare a new generation of leadership to meet the challenges of the coming decades," Vice Chancellor Michael Warder said.

"Joining the Board of Visitors is obviously an honor, but a responsibility as well," Beauprez said. "I look forward to the opportunity to share some of my life experience with these students interested in the intersection of faith and public policy in hopes that it can provide them a perspective on the challenges facing our nation today."

The Pepperdine School of Public Policy's Board of Visitors is chaired by Edwin J. Feulner, President of the Heritage Foundation. Other members include Michael Novak, Steve Forbes, Jack Kemp, and James Q. Wilson.

The Board of Visitors is used to monitor and advise the faculty assessing the adherence to the mission of Pepperdine and recommending opportunities to improve. Members recommend new students and serve as Pepperdine ambassadors spreading the word about the exceptional academic and spiritual opportunity offered on campus.
